Had heard a lot about the famous Cafe Glück in Munich. They really hadn't promised too much. The food was very good. Just like the service in the cozy restaurant where you feel at home.
Adorable café with good food also in the evening
The best food and the favorite waiters ... just like at home
Delicious mulled wine. Next time I visit, I'll try breakfast.
Nice slightly renovated scene local, but used to be a bit more cozy and homely. Food delicious.
Staff seems very experienced.
Delicious food but waiting too long
I really like to go to dinner here in the evening. Nice, long-established shop, a bit hidden in the Glockenbachviertel. The café is individually and comfortably furnished, outside you can sit very nicely between the various plants. Here the decor is lovingly done and no fancy interior designer is hired, which gives the whole thing a very nice, personal ambience. Everyone will find something on the menu, even vegetarians (try a variety of generously prepared salads or the incredibly delicious celery schnitzel!). Price-performance ratio top. Portion sizes and prices very fair and reasonable. Mixed, always sympathetic audience. The host is very friendly, has charm and has been running the shop for years. Something rarely changes here - luckily!
Good quality food with large portions. Very nice staff. Very good price-performance ratio.
Eat mega and there are no frozen fries - everything is handmade. For unbeatable prices.
While I was in Munich for a few days on business Cafe Gluck became my go to place for dinner. Great to be able to get a vegetarian option in Germany.
The very quiet Cafe Glück offers a shady place to chill out and eat outside. The fajita with salad was delicious and a large portion (for woman ?). Inside it is pleasant and outside all seats are seldom taken. With the very friendly staff you have to make yourself noticeable if you are thirsty or hungry. Still has potential!
Did the Café Glück know the old owner, that was clean and good, but unfortunately that is not the case today
A place of wellbeing !!
I went there for drinks, it is a nice place not too crowded. The staff is quite nice.
Nice ambience. For all ages. Good food..nice people.
Café Glück always promises a very cozy, relaxed, delicious evening Prices for food and especially cocktails for Munich standards really great. We always love to come.
The place to go for good food at a reasonable price. It is a bit off the center. But if you are in the "Glockenbachviertel" it is just 3 blocks away. And you can combine it with a walk along the Isar river. I recommend breakfast but especially the house made fresh ?. Lots of varieties also gluten free chocolate ? ?. Very friendly staff. Give it a try!
Very nice little cafe with breakfast until 15:00 at the weekend. Friendly service and good outside seating. It was a pleasure.
This is my favorite cafe / bar / living room in Munich. Everything is as simple and perfect as it can get. It's ultimately cosy and warm, has good and very moderately priced cocktails and drinks, comforting, healthy, filling, cheap and delicious food, giant candy snakes in a jar. The people there are welcoming and nice, and they never give you the feeling that you can only stay if you order a drink every 30min, which is the case in so many other places. I brought almost all of my friends to this place.
Nice service.
The popular I came to often and visited the cafe luck. The food and drink is great! Breakfast is fantastic delicious! Friendly waiter. Toilets is cleanliness. Everyone is great! Inform: Deaf works well communication with waiter. Every waiter / s will learn every bit interesting for the sign language.
For some years I like to go to happiness. The food is delicious (salad colorful) and the cakes, especially the chocolate cake are delicious. Since it is a bit secluded, it is also a quiet spot on hot days.
Excellent cuisine, family atmosphere, pleasantly different from the "routine catering", at civilian prices. Also for outdoor sitting well suited, the side street is not very busy. Only parking is a matter of luck, unless you are ready to go a bit.
Honestly I am a bit surprised about the many reviews regarding the good breakfast. Either we were unlucky or the opinions differ so much. Ordered we had the so-called. Ökofrosch breakfast consisting of cheese, carrot sticks, cheese, cereal or yogurt, orange juice, bread and bread. The whole thing for just under 10 euros, without coffee. What we got then was almost embarrassing. 5 slices of cheese, not even a half a carrot, and cereal lacked the fruit. The dresser is really tasty dependent, but personally I would never cause in life like that. Unfortunately has hospital character .... the juice was freshly squeezed, coffee was good, service friendly. What would I have found really great, would have been a part of the operator demands, why was it not so good. Why does she ask if she does not want to know what did not fit then ?! Price-performance poor.
Perfect to feel at home. Comfy sofas beautiful ambient and nice and polite staff. Also not expensive.
Great breakfast
Relaxed and cosy. Decent brunch options. Recommended
Cozy place in the heart of Munich downtown
Perle im Glockenbach
Absolutely adorable cafe, amazing food, and the best coffee I have had in months! So worth going.
Visited for a spontaneous Brunch on a Sunday after struggling to find tables elsewhere - a very lucky find if you ask me. The brunch options are tasty and the service good, albeit it seemed slow at some points. We got our brunch promptly and enjoyed a nice morning out of the rain.
Good range of breakfasts, friendly staff.
really slow
